Itinerary

Day 1: Kenya Arrival

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by our representative and escorted to the luxurious Hemingways Hotel for overnight. No Meal.

 

 

Day 2: Fly to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, We’ll take you to the airport for your included flight to Amboseli National Park. Luggage restricted to 15 kgs per person. This park contains five main wildlife habitats: open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps, and marshland. Enjoy three nights at the inviting Tortilis Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

 

Day 3: Game Drives in the Shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, set out across the dew-touched landscapes of Amboseli. The animals are up with the first light of day, and the early light is one of the best times to experience the full majesty of Kilimanjaro. With clear weather and a bit of good luck, today offers a chance to capture that classic shot of an elephant or giraffe against the dramatic backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. But even if Kilimanjaro is hidden by clouds, your wildlife-viewing promises to be spectacular. Although best known for its vast herds of free ranging elephants, the greater Amboseli eco-system is also home to a large variety of other wildlife along with more than 400 species of birds. Day 4: Amboseli National Park – Meru National Park

After breakfast, catch your internal light aircraft flight to Meru National Park via Nairobi. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to the camp with an en-route game drive. check in and enjoy lunch. Thereafter proceed for game drive. The park offers a thriving rhino sanctuary, and is famous for large elephant herds, hippo, lion, and rich birdlife; Meru National Park is recognized as having more diversity of animal species than any other park in East Africa. The park is also home of Elsa, the beloved lioness made famous in the award-winning movie “Born Free” and Joy Adamson’s best-selling book of the same title. Overnight at Elsa’s Kopje Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

 

Day 5: Meru National Park

Enjoy full day game drives in this rugged and remote Park. Wake up early and see the sleeping hyraxes huddled together as you make your way for an early morning game drive. Watch as the sun rises and the savanna takes on a rosy hue, the nocturnal game looking for shelter and the plains game celebrate another night of survival.  Explore through the various habitats, along the many rivers, forests and open plains. Other range of activities in the Lodge includes bush walks, or visiting the nearby rhino sanctuary. Overnight at Elsa’s Kopje Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

 

 

Day 6: Meru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, the 90 minutes’ safari transfer flight promises breathtaking views of the African landscapes. Touching down by the vast expanse of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, you’ll be met and escorted to your accommodation. The Mara is famous for its astounding numbers of both resident and transient populations of wildlife as well as over 450 bird species – widely acclaimed as Kenya’s finest wildlife destination. Overnight at Elewana Sand River Camp. Meals Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

 

Day 7: Ballooning over Maasai Mara National Reserve,

Arise early this morning for an unforgettable experience (optional extra at a discounted price of $450 per person). As the sun is rising to cast its first golden rays across these endless landscapes, you’ll be floating silently above in a Hot Air Balloon. Thrill to this incredible bird’s-eye view of the Maasai Mara – and the animals as they begin their day. Touch down in the open savannah, and delight in an al fresco Champagne Breakfast before returning to your safari camp.

With its undisturbed panoramas of rolling savannah punctuated by the iconic silhouette of acacia trees, the Maasai Mara is ravishing in its wild beauty and celebrated as one of the richest wildlife habitats on the Planet. Day 8: Depart Kenya

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara as you catch your included flight back to Nairobi for your onwards arrangements (Option to have lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant, then proceed to Eka hotel for a dayroom as you freshen up awaiting your outbound flight, not included in the cost).
