Ol Tukai Lodge

Located at the foothill of famous Mt. Kilimanjaro, Old Tukai Lodge is an iconic establishment within Amboseli National Park. Beaming with cultural vibrance depicted in decor and design, the lodge boasts 80 chalet-style rooms all offering views of Kili and an impressive public area that flows from reception to restaurant to the stunning grounds.

The dining room is spacious and grand, meals served in traditional buffet-style accompanied by Maasai entertainment in the evenings. The Elephant Bar provides the perfect place for guests to gather at lunchtime or around dinner time for a thirst-quenching drink of their choice. The swimming pool lies flush with the land, manicured lawns seemingly merging with the wilderness plains just beyond. Soak up the sun on comfortable sunbeds, spend some time in the spa or enjoy experiences such as a Maasai village visit or contribute to a healthy environment by planting a tree.

The 80 chalet-style rooms are set in blocks along a neat pathway through the gardens, offering views over the surrounding wilderness or of Kilimanjaro. The rooms can be configured into twin, double or triple-bedded accommodation with a physically challenged room available. Rooms are all decorated in oranges, beiges and browns and boast a small writing area and private terrace. There are tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and a fan. The en-suite bathrooms include a toilet, sink and shower.
