Lake Nakuru Lodge is located in tranquil Lake Nakuru National Park, a breathtaking location based in one of Kenya’s most popular parks. Views are incredible from both the main areas and the guest rooms with a pleasant swimming pool surrounded by lush gardens overlooking the vast plains and the lake. The Mutarakwa restaurant serves a mix of food with African and Indian influences and catering to all dietary requirements while the Mama Nikki bar offers refreshments and entertainment to all visitors in the form of traditional dancers.
The location of the accommodation gives guests the opportunity to view wildlife from the comfort of their room, animals often roaming nearby. One of the rooms, the Zebra Room, is over 100 years old and a treat for any guest who stays in that particular unit. Activities at the lodge include horse riding from the Flamingo stables and the option to plant your own tree, a unique gift that will be looked after by local staff for years to come. Lake Nakuru Lodge also offers excursions to nearby Makalia Falls, Baboon Cliff, Menengai Crater and the wonderful BagaMoyo Sewing Project, to name a few.
