Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge holds an iconic spot in Kenya’s second most popular national park. Comfort and style welcome guests to the lodge, while majestic Mt Kilimanjaro greets from the distance. The main building and rooms are nestled in a grove of acacia trees and tall palm trees stand beside a refreshing pool.
Dining can take place inside the main, vibrant restaurant area or outside with traditional flavors coming through in every dish served. Bush dinners with Maasai dancing is a wonderful alternative to a traditional meal at the lodge with cooking lessons and sundowner talks in the lodge’s Kiboko Lodge, some examples of the activities and experiences guests can enjoy during their stay.
Rooms
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge offers 92 rooms and one suite, all located in a single-storey structure with access out onto the property’s neatly kept grounds. The Maasai Manyatta theme runs throughout with vibrant African colors and designs featured in the soft furnishings and wildlife murals. Comfort and luxury stand out within and a private deck lets guests connect perfectly with the nature around them.
Rooms are ensuite with a shower, bathing amenities and bathrobes available for guests to enjoy during their stay. A ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities and a writing desk complete the room’s amenities. 24-hour room service is available with in-room access to complimentary wifi. Families can enjoy the convenience of interconnecting rooms, nine sets available at the lodge.
For those guests looking for that extra level of luxury, the Ol Donyo Oibor Suite can be compared to a Presidential Suite at other hotels, and comprises a separate bedroom and sitting area, as well as a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. A dedicated butler is available for all guests’ needs.
